About Me.exe

// a brief history of how I ended up here

In the early 2000s, when YM and Ragnarok dominated the internet and when not-so-normal people were the ones who actually had access to the internet, I was just a kid trying to explore.

Apparently, I fell in love with Friendster layouts, Tumblr, and MySpace. I dedicated a good portion of my young life to beautifying my little corner of the internet.

Then I decided to take IT because I thought I would just be designing websites. Little did I know that's not how the real world works.

Fast forward to today, where almost everyone has access to the internet, and somehow it has become a place of constant anxiety and panic for me.

Reading things about the world that shouldn't have happened.

> nostalgia.exe running...
> doomscrolling.exe detected...
> attempting to escape...
> creating website instead.

So, in my soliloquy, I found myself reminiscing about what it felt like to simply create a little space on the internet, just like I did when I was a kid.

I didn't even know blogging was still a thing.

So here I am.

Avoiding doomscrolling.
Learning how to code again.
And trying to make a little corner of the internet that feels like mine.
